VineClub™ has set up a rewards system for those members recommending friends, family and colleagues to our website for the purpose of purchasing good quality wines at close to wholesale prices. Quite simply, you join as a member, purchase some wine, tell your friends about it and we pay you a commission or finder’s fee on anything they purchase from us, at various percentages depending on the level of the new member below you. We don't advertise in glossy magazines or other expensive mediums. We pay you to advertise.
VineClub.co.nz uses the Binary model as the basis for its compensation plan. Binary plans are so named because they are built on a matrix of two. You can sign only two people onto your first level. Anybody else you may introduce goes beneath those people. Binary systems pay on a specified, maximum amount of purchases over a period of time, in our case, monthly. It pays on that amount regardless of how many levels down you need to look to reach that total. So the number of levels between you and a given new member is not especially relevant. The thing that determines whether you get a commission from that person is not what level he is on, but rather how much purchase volume is generated in the levels between you and that person.
Since you can only sign two people directly under yourself, you end up with a structure that has two "legs" - two spots that in turn have all the other spots under them. Even though this structure encourages spillover (that is, you will likely have people placed under you by your upline), those people generally end up in one leg, and you must balance that volume with new members of your own (in your other leg) in order to benefit from that spillover.
VineClub™ will pay you commission on purchases by your downline to the maximum of $1,000 in any volume month, per group. Once you have built a group and generate this commission level, the company will allow you to ‘breakaway’ from that group and form a new group. You will only need to qualify once during the month and this is achieved by purchasing one case of wine or any other product that VineClub™ may offer to the value of $180 excl. GST in the volume month. Volume months are typical calendar months. Commissions are paid by the 15th of the following month provided that qualification has occurred.
As per our Policies and Procedures Manual, NO member is required to purchase any specified amount of product provided that an order is placed at least once in any six month period to retain membership. However in order to receive commissions on group volume, an order for the minimum amount of product is required.
Commission Earnings
No commissions are payable on your personal purchase.
If you have no downline, then no commission can be earned.
If you purchase no product, regardless of how many in your group, no commission can be earned.
On Level 1 members, you earn 10% of their volume so if we assume the two members on Level 1 generated $400 volume, you will earn $40.
On Level 2 members, you earn 5% of their volume so if we assume the four members on Level 2 generated $800 volume, you will earn another $40.
On Level 3 members, you earn 5% of their volume so if we assume the eight members on Level 3 generated $1600 volume, you will earn another $80.
On Level 4 and below, you earn 1% of volume to a maximum income of $1,000 per group.
In the above model, the ‘merlot’ coloured circles represent a member of your downline who has qualified for the month and lets assume that their volume was $200. You have also qualified so are therefore entitled to commission at the shown percentages. You are continued to be paid 1% commission on any future downline members until your group income maximum has been earned i.e. $1000. At that point you break away and form another group to earn even higher commissions, all the while earning the maximum $1,000 from your initial group.
